QUALIFICATIONS

The Troop Webmaster must meet BSA membership requirements, be at least 21 years of age, and register with the Boy Scouts of America as an adult leader.

The Troop Webmaster is selected by the Troop Committee, with the approval of the charter organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Troop Webmaster is responsible for:

  • Maintaining the Troop web site.
  • Keeping Leaders informed of changes and updates.
  • Keep Leaders informed of BSA web site guidelines and procedures.
  • Encouraging Troop Leaders to provide information for the Troop web site.

The Troop Webmaster seeks 100% of the Troop leadership to keep their information on the web site and updated. New leaders should receive web site orientation within one week of joining the Troop.
