REFUND POLICY

There has been a lot of questions and misconceptions about Camporee Refunds due to rescheduling which needs clarification.

Cost for the Fall Camporee will be adjusted based on the rescheduled registration information from the Troops. If a Troop cannot attend, or a lesser amount of Scouts and Adults are attending, those Troops will get a full refund for the number not attending. For those Troops bringing more Scouts and Adults to the rescheduled Fall Camporee, we will expect a check for the difference in numbers. The critical item at this time is to get the recount information, along with names to Connie Govea as soon as possible. As mentioned in an earlier email, we need this information by next Wednesday, November 6, 2002. Refunds to the individuals not attending will need to be handled at the Troop level.

The Fall Camporee and the District wants this matter to be handled fairly for all concerned and as prompt as possible. We hope this meets with everyone's satisfaction.

The rais located close to the intersection of FM 1155 and FM 2193. Its formal name is Pleasant Home Farm. From Houston, you take Hwy. 290 Northwest to Chappell Hill. At the Chappell Hill lighted intersection, you take a right on FM 1155. Proceed on FM 1155 7.6 miles until it dead ends into FM 2193, and turn left. Approximately 300 yards on the left, take a left before you reach the church, and cross the cattle guard into Pleasant Home Farm. There will be signs to guide you from there. It's around a one-hour drive from Houston.
