There has been a lot of questions and
misconceptions about Camporee Refunds due to rescheduling
which needs clarification.
Cost for the Fall Camporee will be adjusted based on the
rescheduled registration information from the Troops. If a
Troop cannot attend, or a lesser amount of Scouts and Adults
are attending, those Troops will get a full refund for the
number not attending. For those Troops bringing more Scouts
and Adults to the rescheduled Fall Camporee, we will expect
a check for the difference in numbers. The critical item at
this time is to get the recount information, along with
names to Connie Govea as soon as possible. As mentioned in
an earlier email, we need this information by next
Wednesday, November 6, 2002. Refunds to the individuals not
attending will need to be handled at the Troop level.
The Fall Camporee and the District wants this matter to
be handled fairly for all concerned and as prompt as
possible. We hope this meets with everyone's
satisfaction.
